He has worked in the software industry as an employee for large corporations on DOD projects, and also as an entrepreneur, running his own software development company and creating a nationally recognized lighting design program. His academic interests include the application of artificial intelligence techniques to the improvement of education, and the development of improved teaching methods for undergraduate software engineering students.

Great textbook if you are looking for something that will lay out the core concepts of Data Structures. Unfortunately it oversimplifies many of the details of implementation for all the structures.
